One characteristic feature of this product is the usage of several types of cheese. One of these is grey noble mould cheese, which has a thin rind and soft and slightly sweet flesh. How pungent it is is determined by the degree of maturation, which can last between three and six months. There are no improvers or flavour enhancers in it. The cheeses are made from fresh cow's milk or with the addition of goat's milk.

Once the cheese flesh is obtained, the whey is separated and the cheeses are moulded. They are then massaged with the chosen garnishes and cured in a maturing room.

The product's name 'Vizla' refers to the Latin name of the village where it is made - Wisła Wielka.
