Local Brand
Lokalna Marka Ziemi Pszczyńskiej (Local Brand of Pszczyna Land) is a quality mark awarded to products manufactured in the Pszczyna district which meet specific certification criteria. Its aim is to support local entrepreneurship, promote the values and resources of the region and increase tourist traffic in the Pszczyna Land.
Articles marked with this brand are a guarantee of high-quality products from the Pszczyna district.
The logo of the Local Brand of the Pszczyna Land refers to the image of a rose, which is an element of the historic Pszczyna embroidery. The colours used were often used in folk costumes in the Pszczyna region. The muted, faded colours are a reference to the long history and tradition of the region. Green symbolises the lush nature of the Pszczyna district, while shades of red refer to the active efforts of its inhabitants, who are characterised by passion and creativity. The two worlds - historical and contemporary are linked by a form that is a symmetrical reflection of the hand-made ornaments and a modern writing pattern.
The Local Brand of Pszczyna Land was created and implemented as part of the project entitled „Regionalne produkty - bogactwo pogranicza” (Regional products - the wealth of the borderland), implemented in 2021-2022 together with the Czech partner - MAS Pobeskydí. This project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget within the Microproject Fund of the Beskidy Euroregion of the INTERREG V-A Czech Republic - Poland Programme 2014-2020.
